Out & About

{PHOTO} This exquisite solid cast aluminum dining set was delivered to San Pedro, CA before Thanksgiving. We particularly love the little fishy rug placed underneath. A quiet, yet fun statement piece.

It’s a Dog’s Life…really

Send us a photo of your dog enjoying your backyard/outdoor space or on an adventure outdoors!  You can send pics via email or text to 951-818-5470.  If your photo is chosen, we will send your pup some treats!

This month’s photo is actually a video.  My dog Penny (playing the reindeer) and me (playing Santa) does a cheesy Black Friday clip for our social media pages.  Hopefully it puts a small smile on your face.  Look for more antics, I mean videos in the coming weeks and months starring Patio World’s favorite Basset Hound.

La Última Palabra (The Last Word)

Quote of the Month:

“For it is in giving that we receive.” – Francis of Assisi

This quote evokes the core meaning of the Season (and of life).  Christmas is the biggest day of giving in the world and, personally, there is nothing that makes me feel better, forget my problems, and brings me centered, than giving to others.  Not just actual physical gifts, but time, a quiet & non-judgmental ear, or just a “thank you” are free for the giving and, yet so easy to do. Remember we are all here on earth, living together (like it or not-people aren’t going anywhere anytime soon).  So, try to be pleasant, kind, thoughtful, and giving without expectation of reward and you will be surprised at what happens!

Merry Christmas and I wish you a joyful New Year.

Have an idea for a future newsletter?  Want to berate me for something I did or said?  Go ahead!  I want to hear from you:  The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly.    You can leave a message here or email us at patioworld@patioworldonline.com

Whether at home or out in the wild, take it all in.  Remember that life is truly lived better outdoors.

Take care,

WR
