Life, Lived Better – Outdoors

It Ain’t Fall Yet – September 2023 Newsletter

And even if it was, so what?  We live in SoCal and we have excellent weather to enjoy the outdoors 95% of the year.  But for those of you diehard calendographers, our Autumnal Equinox is Saturday, September 23rd.

I think Autunm is my favorite season of the year.  The weather cools a little (but not too cold), the sun sets a little earlier (but not to early), and life’s pace slows a little (before the mad rush of the Holidays).  A perfect time of year to light up the fire pit in the evening after work, cozy up on your outdoor sofa, relax with loved ones, watch a game, read a book, or just close your eyes and….breath.  Enjoy the fresh air and the surrounding elements of nature.  Have I got your “outdoor zen” going yet?  If not:

Send us a photo of your dog enjoying your backyard/outdoor space or on an adventure outdoors!  You can send via email or text pictures to 951-818-5470.  If your photo is chosen, we will send your pup some treats!

I’m all ears.  Penny visits us again in all her glory!  From her, “I believe I can fly” pose, to her, “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful” look.  She really knows how to captivate an audience.

La Última Palabra (The Last Word)

Quote of the Month:

“To be able to fill leisure intelligently is the last product of civilization, and at present very few people have reached this level.” – Bertrand Russell

Including me, but I’m getting better at it.  Also, depends on who’s definition of intelligence…
