After serving in the Army in the 1960s… Brian Romain and his wife, Rose Ann, came to southern California to start a new life and leave the “somewhat” chilly temperatures of the Midwest.  They ended up in Riverside to start a family and see where life would take them.

Working for over a decade in the manufactured housing sector, Brian and Rose Ann, saw the industry slowly shrinking, so they looked for a new opportunity to support themselves and their 2 small children.  They found a small patio store housed in a former beauty salon that was for sale.  The owner was retiring, so they seized the opportunity as being the Inland Empire’s only dedicated, full line outdoor furniture retailer.

Since then, Patio World has grown and become southern California’s “go to” place for Outdoor Furniture, Barbecues, and Accessories.  The reasons for growth are many.  Brian always said to “treat the customer as if they are coming into your home”.  That being said, service is a priority, as well as offering the best selection at the best prices.  Whether you are coming in for a $59.00 umbrella or a $2999.00 U.S.A. Made sofa group, customer satisfaction is our #1 priority.
